Can they be put in the same aquarium safely? Aquarium is 125 gallons.

yes, bala shars will get about a foot long ea. so a 125 is a good size for them.
traditionally RTBS get aggressive as they age, but it shouldnt be a problem due to levels.
They’re not likely to get along well, no. Sharks are pretty aggressive, especially the rtbs’s.
In that size tank they should be OK.
The Balas are large and fast swimming, and have room to move away from the red tail if it does get stroppy. The Balas will grow bigger than the red tail, but they are generally a peacefull fish.

That would be fine. Your tank is appropriately sized for the massive, schooling Bala Sharks, and though Redtailed Sharks are traditionally aggressive towards other “sharks”, that only holds true if they have a similar body shape. Balas have a very different body shape than the classic “freshwater sharks” like Redtails, Rainbows, and Black Sharks. Also, the Balas are surface dwellers while the Redtailed Shark will stick close to the bottom, so there will be a very low level of interaction anyway.
