are LED lights better for soft corals and hard corals to grow? I want to upgrade my compact light into LED lights?

I have 2 sets of Aquabeam 500 duo’s Marine blue and 1 Aquabeam 500 single Marine white, Been on tank for a year, video shot 6 months in, They been ok but not brilliant, I’m in the process of taking a set of the aquabeam duo’s out & adding 2no T5 39w tubes as I think corals need more light going to try a mix of LED’s & T5′s, My tanks 2ft deep as well, Beware TMC’s Power suplies for Duo’s are faulty, They Know about problem with them, but still sell them,
I’m thinking about getting these for my vision 450 instead of the juwel high lite unit. How have they been for you so far? Did you ever have tubes? If so, are they better? The lighting depth seems pretty good too. My tank is 2FT deep, do you reckon it would penetrate the water column okay? Sorry to keep asking Q’s, but i understand there is a total of 5 LED’s and you can choose which colours you want. Which combination do you use and how are your SPS faring?

Its not a coral it is Red grape caulerpa alge ( Red grape sea weed )
Can you give me the name of the coral the cleaner shrimp is on @ 1:27
What colour aqua rays do you have over the tank mate and were they easy ti fit cause i have this tank and wanted to upgrade to aquarays
