Ah, I didn’t see these lol. I got the same plant from petco in one of those plastic cylinder deals, and it is not a fully aquatic plant. Mine didn’t rot right away, but they also didn’t grow any roots or spread at all. Usually the plants that feel like they have a waxy coating are not aquatic.
Hey, that CO2 injector looks spectacular! If you can’t see any bubbles coming out, then it’s a good indication that the majority of the CO2 is being absorbed into the water.
The plants look like golden ribbons, which grow pretty slowly. I would suggest a little more dense planting and getting rid of the air bubbler. The bubbler just gives more surface contact with the air for CO2 to escape and may stunt the plant growth. Extra plants absorb harmful chemicals and add tons of oxygen to the water.

so as you can all see i put plants in my aquarium. well i started to look up the plants that i had bought. every blog and web site said that the plants were not aquatic and that they would die if fully submerged. after i spacificly asked the guy at petsmart and he said they where fully submersable well i believed the 20 web sites overs the petsmart guy. i called petsmart and told them they where all dead and i threw them away so i took back the tubes they came in
it seems to be working well i intalled it today please give input
