@TheAquariumKid ill keep trying to upload the video and see if i can get it up and when u can i want some help choosing fish to buy if u dont mind. im not too good with choosing compatable fish lol. but if u can so far i have 4 red eye tetra, 2 male cherry barbs, 1 black neon tetra, 1 pleco ( which will be taken back to petstore with uprooting plants), and one male betta which will probably be moved to a betta bowl to help with any problems
@CatfishC0rey well if they doing good then u should be good i realyl wanan see the tank am gunan re do my 29 gallon tank probly tomrrow
@TheAquariumKid well i tried posting a video of the tank but it wouldnt show to upload from my phone. so no way to upload video until i borrow my grandmas video camera. but the plants look fine so far and added flurapride and this weekend going to buy liquid c02
@CatfishC0rey well u said saltwater lighting thats not good see saltwater lights are ment for corals live rock ect and its not ment for plants becuase its white lighting and i got blue red and am not good with the lighting stuff but i got bout 2.0 wpg post a vid?
@TheAquariumKid well im not for sure its the 29 gallon biocube stock lighting so im assuming high lighting since its a saltwater reef setup that i used for the planted tank. i have natural basic gravel and added tetra plant florapride for the plants. the plants seem to like it because the yellowish leaves are completly green after maybe 3 hrs in the new tank.
@CatfishC0rey well lets see since u going to have plants try to get plant substrate such as eco complete or florite what am goign to do is get potting soil(organic) and take out half or 2/3 of it and mix it with the gravel and put sand all over the mixture and thats post to very good soo yeah but how many watts of light u getting? or have?
hey im setting up my first planed aquarium this weekend. its going to be a 29 gallon biocube and tips? the plants i have now to put in is a potted hairgrass 2 potted anubias minima, a mystery bulb and another i dont know name of. so if u have any tips id really appericate it ( ps im going from a 10 gallon tank to a 29 gallon biocube)
