Why Do My Fish Keep On Dying?

Hi There,
I have a 30 gallon fish tank with tropical fish and the tank I have has been running for years. I test the ph level, nitrites, and ammonia level once a month and everything comes up normal. I have an air pump that fits the requirements for a 30 gallon tank and a heater that also meats the requirements. I clean out the gravel once a week and do a deep clean every month taking out about 30 percent of the water. The water is crystal clear and the first couple of weeks I had the fish they seemed to be doing great. They were roaming around in groups and none of them seemed to be in shock. I also have a filter that meets the requirements and replace the pad once a month. I had previous fish, in fact the exact same type of fish and they did great in the tank, they died from old age. I also have an algae eater but i doubt he will eat the fish. Any help will be great, thanks. P.S. I had about 7 tetras and one algae eater.

Job Interview Help!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I have a job interview tomorrow at a restaurant (hostess position); I haven’t had a job in 1 year, and my previous occupation was at Jack’s Aquarium. I didn’t leave with a two weeks notice so I’m worried about future employers calling them up. I don’t have restaurant experience and I’m scared that they won’t give me a chance. (this would, if I get hired, be my second job) I’m 18 and I have no idea what to say; I have been through many interviews, but I always had qualities fit for the job. I just don’t want to make myself sound unworthy or unfit for the position. I need a job so badly right now! (I’m in college!!!) What to I talk about and how do I answer the questions?

As long as you gave them 15 minutes to get use to the temperature of the water, then it’s ok to let them in the tank now.

Is The Filter Working Right When You Fill Up A One Gallon Tank All The Way?

I have a one gallon tank for my betta fish that I recently got.The filter is really small but works all right, except that when I fill up y tank all the way9I hate leaving visible air space ast the top) which means that the water mark is past the slot line where clean water emerges from the filter, does the filter work all right then?I really want to know cuz since my friend gave me her betta fish, which is really sick and she doesn;t know waht to do with it(along w/tank),plus I already have several tanks and some experiance..but in reality I am obviiously still a beginner, and I want to know if this is all right!
P.D What heater can I gte for this tank. The water gets cold so fast.

Why Are My Female Guppies Dying?

Alright. I have a 29 gallon tank. Not over crowded, and levels are fine and is set at 80 degrees. I have 3 tsp of aquarium salt in it. I have read a lot of these to try to figure out what is wrong with them. My female guppies die. Not before they drop (some of them do but not most of them), and not right after I get them. Weeks or months after I get them. I can’t seem to get the females to live! It is frustrating and I really want to find out if I’m doing something wrong. I can’t think of anything else it could be but my fault. I have got them from different places. So I guess what I’m asking is what could cause a female guppy to die after a month of being purchased? They do not all die at the same time either. One will lay at the bottom, and die a few days after and then another couple days pass and then another. Any idea? thanks.
