What Should I Call My Story? (10 Points)?

Plot: (Copyright CC): A young girl who lives in hawaii (but is not native) name Maylin (May-Linn) goes to a party with her friends on the beach at night. She starts to feel sick, so she walks a few blocks away from the party. She sits by the waters edge when a teen girl comes to her. Her name was Odessa. Odessa turns out to be a mermaid. Odessa tells Maylin the story of the mermaids that her father used to tell her:
One day a little girl was playing by the waters edge when she fell in. A little fish called a :”mer” bit both of her legs and they got stuck together. The fishes bite sprouted scales on the girls leg. When she got out of water and dried off, the scales would dissapear and her legs would come apart. The girl lived with this her whole life. She grew up to be a maid for a rich family, but when she fell into the bathtub and got wet, the rich man of the family saw her scales and legs. He noticed the scales were of a “mer” fish. He called her a mermaid because of her job. She went under water and turned others into mermaids or mermans. Thats how mermaids and mermans were created.
Odessa dragged Maylin under the water and turned her into a mermaid.

2 Of My Female Betta Have Damaged Fins?

I am housing 3 female Betta together 2 of them have damaged fins. I have a feeling my older one has been nipping at them but they can swim past each other and be fine most the time. the medium sized one has the most damage to her fins. and the smallest one just has a few splits. my older one is fine. but i have seen my smallest one nipping the medium sized one from time to time. I figured I could get a half gallon tank with a divider and put the 2 betta with damaged fins in there and add aquarium salt to help heal their fins. I can take the older one out cuz the little one still nips the big one and the little one an medium one both have damaged fins. if i take the 2 out will it cause my older one to become more territorial when i add the 2 back once more after they’re healed? or is it just going to be impossible to house all them together again? I hardly ever see them chasing each other though.

Cleaning Out An Old Fish Tank… Is It Safe To Use Chemicals?

I’m going to cycle the tank later, right now I don’t even have a filter, but there’s like legit dirt on the inside–it’s been sitting in someone’s garage or basement or something.
Would it be safe to use cleaning chemicals to get the glass clean? Or will it kill my fish regardless?

What Is The Most Likely Explanation For This Observation?

An aquarium population of guppies has reached a stable population size. We decide to add twice as much guppy food per day to the aquarium, but this turns out to have no effect on population size. What is the most likely explanation for this observation?
This is a question for my AP Biology homework. I can’t find an answer in the book, and I have no idea what it is.
Thanks for the help!
