Reading numerous articles from different sources, about supposed UFO abductees in different countries. Seeing the realistic results of those tests in which “foreign bodies” have been extracted from people who have had suspicions for the longest time that something’s been placed in their bodies, and even people who clearly heard comments from “beings” telling them these implants were being placed there, what is the general consensus amongst scientists?
Are these people being disregarded as too imaginative or sick?
Since some of these “articles of implant” seemed to have magnetic fields or other, isn’t anyone caring to investigate who might have placed them there?
Also, since many suspect government and/ or military personnel have to do with this, shouldn’t the two biggest questions in everyone’s mind be:
1) Why “search and fish” for these people in the most isolated of places, when they could do this in just about any institution, whether private or governmental without raising anyone’s suspicion.
2) Why “fly” around in weird apparatus and give the impression that the person is taken up into a flying saucer or similar thing?
3) Why tell them these things are being implanted so it may help them in their lives, or help them be monitored, etc.?
4) Are most scientists_who may believe that these events are being perpetrated by other human beings_afraid to be called loonies if others find out about their research on this?
I myself think this is a fascinating issue, and yes, granted that there’s so much misery to be taken care of in the world everywhere, and governments are just handling wagons after wagons of money for people to recuperate from horrible natural disasters, and this alone takes up half the news every day. But, it is also a fact that science does have its funds set aside yearly_even when universities have to fight hard to get them.
In a way that might answer my question: Lack of enough money. But, by now there’s enough evidence around to be studied with the simplest of means.

I think everyone can generally agree that keeping smaller marine animals like fish, octopus, otters, etc. is not a major issue, because these animals needs can easily be facilitated in an aquarium setting, and if anything they experience a better and safer life than they would out in the ocean, where they have not only natural enemies but also human forces to endanger them. But the issue of keeping larger animals (orcas, whales, dolphins, etc) is understandably more controversial. Do you think the benefits of keeping some large marine animals captive outweigh the negative aspects, or vice versa?

I REALLY want a Betta fish because they are gorgeous (You have to admit it) and I want to save one of the Bettas from the Petland torture chambers. I already have two ratties and one of them is sick and elderly):. Anyway So I asked my Dad ( He’s the one who is the easiest to get something out of and the person to convince my mom something that she doesn’t like) He said no because it is hard enough for me to take care of my rats, So I was thinking of showing more responsibility with my rats, like not forgetting to clean the rats cage 1 a week, Watching their water bottle so that the always have water (Which they do but sometimes it gets low and yeah.) Cleaning my room spotless and keeping it clean, and write down everything that they need ( 5 gallon tank, blah blah blah) And then if they say maybe then I would offer them if I pay for everything (Which I would anyway) and buying the tank (It’s on sale for 70% off) and just putting water and gravel in it and taking care of it like keeping it clean and what-not. I’m pretty sure that I can convince my Dad to say yes because I wanted my nose pierced and I wrote down EVERYTHING like I have 8 full length pages of stuff and 3 pages of notes, My mom was TOTALLY against it but I convinced my Dad and he said yes but I later backed out because I was only 13 and if it got infected I would be screwed because it’s on my face. I later got my ear cartilage done instead and my Dad was proud of me for changing my mind about the nose piercing. So I think if I can convince my dad to let me get my nose pierced I think I can get a fish, So are my ideas okay? What else could I do? Thanks

Hi everyone, my 14 gallon tank is now up and running for about 1 week now, i have 4 ghost shrimps and 5 tetras in it atm (on sale 1 dollar each at petsmart). I am sure it is not fully cycled. I use API stress coat and stress zyme.
So what i want to know is i wont add anymore fish in for awhile but if i do what kind to have? i also love tiger barbs, are they easy to care for? if i add tiger barb btw i would only have 5 barbs and maybe 3 cory catfish thats it. Since petsmart is having 1 dollar sale for most tetras in their store i would like to use tetras to cycle my new tank and keep them for awhile till i get better then move on to different fish? A tank with tetras what else can i add to my long fin red minor tetras and i notice they eat food only sunk to the middle and i bought only floating flakes. I was told to hold the flake under water then release but the fish sometimes spits out bigger pieces and wont eat it.
Also how high should my water level be? i like it filled to the top because if i sit down low, the light from the top wont shine into my eyes, but I’m afraid that the filter alone wont put much oxygen into the tank?
I cant afford a air pump right now, pure broke from buying all the aquarium kit and chemicals and such.
How often should i do water changes till my tank is fully cycled, and when it is fully cycled. When should i change water then? Also i was told paper towel is good to clean inside the fish tank, no money for a float magnet glass cleaner but can they paper towel put tiny residue inside my tank?
i hope you guys/girls can help me make a awesome tank that will make my room more relaxing after work/school i spend time 90% in my room if i am at home, thanks!
