Well, they usually say if they would work for that size.

I personally would get a bigger filter. (One made for a 100 gallon) although that is your choice.

So I settled my cichild fish in a tank that used to carry goldfish I did a 50% water change but still no ideal for them to be staying longer then a couple of days in, But my problem is I tried putting sand into the tank and removing the gravel they had. So pretty much I did a 50% on my orginal tank and removed all thegravel and took the sand outside rinsed it once (The sand isCaribSea Aragonite Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand something along those lines of that company it was fine for cichilds) so I put the sand into my tank and filled it up with water and of course the water is completely cloudy i dont know if i should wait it out for it to settle OR i should completely redo everything change all the water and redo cleaning the sand…if I am redoing the sand please help me on where to start

i just got two new rats, one i adopted she is 7 months old (her old owners got allergies to her, poor thing was kept alone in a tiny aquarium!) her name is Sophie, and i got her a future cage mate who is really young named Parker. I held both of them before i got them, Sophie seemed really lovey she gave me kisses on my nose and they said she has been socialized since birth. But now that i got her home she is really scared, she wont come out of her hide-a-hut until night time, but she frequently runs back in it. How do i get her to warm up? Baby Parker is a sweetie and she came out right away every time i come to get her out. I would also like to know the best way to introduce them?? Should i do it as soon as possible? The lady said that they should get along fine because one is just a baby but i dont want take any chances. Also if anyone has any ideas for good homemade rat treats that would be great! :) thanks!

Cat Covered In Oil And A Fish Hook In Its Nose?

My kitten thats maybe 2-3 months old was found earlier with a fish hook through her mouth and out her nose! It was rusty and nasty! My dad and uncle cut the hook and got it out. Then she was handed off to me covered head to tail in oil like she was dunked in it! I gave her a bath with dog soap (the bottle smells like skunk lol) and dish soap, not all the oil came off and she still stinks! Should i be worried about the hook and her getting sick? Or what about the oil can that make her sick? Im worried about her cause she has just been having bad luck all her life! any advise to get the smell off her would help too! But i dunno if I NEED to take her to the vet, because we are tight on cash.

she was a stray when we found her
the oil was like a clear red/orange color like motor oil
the hook was on a fishing pole in our garage that was rusty and was used
shes asleep in my room nice and safe
she weighs maybe 5pounds

My fish Violet died today. The paper I got said she’s an oranda. I am worried that my other fish Leo (who’s an oranda also) is lonely. Violet was about 3 inches long living in a 2 gallon tank with Leo. I recently cleaned the tank and changed the filter checking the temperatures regularly to make sure the temperature was correct. I figured if Violet had gotten water poisoning or something Leo would have gotten it too. So should I get a new friend for Leo and if I do what could I have done to prevent Violet dying so that I don’t kill Leo’s new friend or Leo?

each verse is for a separate song im doing with some friends. please rate each verse and tell me how i can improve the flow. im trying to figure out how to impart more meaning in my raps and make them more metaphorical. any suggestions would be appreciated. also i would appreciate if you could make sure the raps are original and if i didnt unknowingly plagiurize anyone elses work.
