Hey guys
I have been planning to add gravel to my tank. I received some that was
used and I accidently left it soaking in tap water while I was cleaning it. I
left it there for about a week or so. Because I am currently used bottled
water for my aquarium, I dont have de-chlorinizer. I am worried that the
chlorine has been absorbed into the gravel, so I left it out in the sun,
with Aluminium foiled to try to get rid of the Chlorine. Is this an effective
way to do so? How long until I can add the gravel back to the tank
without harming my fish because of chlorine poisoning?
*side notes*
I am trying to cycle my tank. (this is day 5)
I have one betta in order to speed up the cycle (because of their hardiness)
The gravel is colored.
Thank you for your time
