Can Rabbits Affect Other Pets Health?

i just bought an 8 week old rabbit 2 days ago from a bunny farm, and i havent taken him to the vets yet
everything seems fine, hes pooping regularly and there normal, i was just wondering if the rabbit can affect my dog and cats health by any chance?
i used to have a chinchilla, but he got a wierd eye infection and my vet said he got it from my fish?
i just want to make sure my cat or dog wont get sick from the bunny or else ill start to wash my hands before touching them after the rabbit, another thing is if its a male, how bad is it if i dont get him fixed??
is there any type of medicine i should get for the bunny to prevent worms? and where can i get it, he is an indoor rabbit.

55 Gal North Carolina Native Freshwater Tank

Been working on this tank for about a year. I saw other people’s videos of native tanks and really loved them, but I decided to take a different approach. I’m an avid fisherman, but collecting the juveniles presented more of a challenge for me and will eventually allow me to have more species than collecting grown fish would. It is a 55-gallon tank with 60-gallons-worth of filters on it, not including the under gravel filter. I do have a heater in the tank, but not so much for heating as for keeping a consistent temperature because the tank is in an uninsulated basement. This tank currently holds: 2 Bluegills 2 Red-breasted sunfish (Robins) 2 Blue-spotted sunfish 1 Eastern Mudminnow 1 Danio (left over from before I switched it to a native tank) 1 Pleco I did have a little needlenose gar but one of the water changes didn’t agree with him and he sadly passed. I also used to have another pleco and a crayfish, but one ate the tail of the other (guess which), and as a result I now have neither. Again this tank is relatively new and is being added to as often as I can catch something new. Feel free to comment and ask questions, but know that anything negative will be deleted. Thanks for watching!

I am trying to decide what kind of “bottom feeder” I need, please help?

Question by yellowcar1125: I am trying to decide what kind of “bottom feeder” I need, please help?
I have a 30 gallon aquarium, I have african cichlids and a Jack dempsey in it. I need a bottom feeder, i really dont need a plecostomus because of their “mature size” (24 in.) plus my tank really isnt that dirty. I bought a Siver tipped Shark and ha d to take it back because the cichlids ate its whiskars so when I went back I got a Pangasius Catfish and I think that I am going to be taking it back tomorrow because it is picking on my cichlids and I looked around online and found out that they grow rediculously fast and can get 3 feet long or more (yikes.) I was thinking about a loach of some sort (clown) but i dont want my cichlids to torture it, but at the same time i know people that have loaches in with their cichlids. Can someone please give me some ideas???

Good Fish To Put Into A Small Aquarium?

I am back in school after a year of interning, and I bought a little 2.5 gallon tank today with the intent of getting a fish or two. The tank has a nice, simple filtration system, a good light and I fully intend on putting a couple of plants in there as well.
Right now it’s cycling to clean the environment with the help of a water cleaning supplement and the filtration system. I’ll pick up a couple small plants and a pH kit tomorrow to see how it’s coming along. I’ve also got gravel and a small faux wood branch in it to give it a nice look.
So by this weekend, hopefully the tank will be ready for fish. Anyone have suggestions? a lone betta would of course do well in that kind of environment, but I’m also considering maybe a few brightly colored tetras or some such. I also want to put some kind of cleaner animal in the tank, either one of those small catfish, or possibly starting a snail colony.
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cool Freshwater Fish Ideas?

Okay, so I’ve been saving up my money for a hedgehog but my parents said no so I thought I could use the money to add some unique fish to my aquarium in my room. I love things that look out of the ordinary and was wondering if you had any ideas. I have $50 but prefer not to spend it all on one fish, I’d like to get quite a few to add a lot of excitement to my tank. My tank is a decent size, and I already have 6 smaller fish. The fish I presently have are a bubble eyed goldfish, two black mollys, a glow fish, a tiger barb, and a tiny red fish. In your answer please give the species of fish, average price, and a picture would be great. Feel free to include multiple fish ideas. Thanks a lot.
