I currently have 3 cory catfish, 1 tiger barb (I know they need to be in a school, but the other 4 died), and 1 ghost shrimp in a 5 gallon fish tank. I’m going to be moving them into a 10 gallon tank. Also with the 5 gallon fish tank left over, what should I add in there? Please, some suggestions :)

My Batta fish wont eat?

I have a really old batta fish. He wont eat and lookes really dead till i poke his tank. He wont move or eat. How can i get him too eat and move arround more like he used to?

I have got so far in my new tropical fish tank..

Some neon fish ( some died because they swam behind the filter & got stuck ) i moved the filter not sure how they managed that!!

2 female Guppie Fish

1 Chinese Male Fighter Fish ( gorgeous )

1 Albino Shark ( which jumped out of the tank with in a hour of getting him!! onto the floor lol )

1 alge eating plec which is about 4inch long..

1 of my Guppies has some of its tale missing…. looks like a chunk of it has came out? They all are fine during the day just wondering if something is happening at night??? But the guppie seems to avoid the fighter fish, when i first put my guppies in the fighter fish followed them for a good half a hour but they seemed settled. So not sure whats happened??

Would 1 Emperor 400 power filter work for a 75 gal. single oscar, aquarium, for the entire life of the fish?

1 oscar fish 75 gallons to itself, no tankmates… for the life of the fish… willing to add more filters, 5×75=375 and the emperor covers 5 times the gallon rule i have heard from the petstore

n a study reported Friday in the Journal of Fish Biology, scientists said DNA testing proved that a pup carried by a female blacktip shark in a Virginia aquarium contained no genetic material from a male.

Why we don’t eradicate 3 dangerous species of shark? because they do not worthy the hyman life.?

Im surfer and I think that tiger bull and wight shark should live just in Aquarium, hyman life is more important then these 3 species, and various species of dolphins and killer whales eat everything what this 3 species of shark eat.Spin-er dolphins eat fish in the open ocean ,bottle-nose dolphin eat fish in shallow sea and killer whale eat seals dolphins fish whale sharks and turtles ,so natural balance would stay intact

I’ve been keeping 4 parrot fishes in my mom’s 15gal tank,how can i keep this up?

This was the first time i had fish and didnt cycle the tank.
The fish had black spots and white scratches all over.
I thought they were dead,because they were all lying in the bottom.
I asked how can i keep the fish alive and one answered my question and told me to add more methylene blue and my fish got better.(whoever you are,thanks)

2 months after i added a fish i caught fishing in a river in bataan (which is in the philippines,i am from the philippines btw) which is called by the natives “biya” which is a bottom dweller and does not swim a lot.it is about 3 in.

I’ve think i did a good job in this tank as i never had problems since the first month.
I feed them twice a day.
there are currently 3 red parrot fish,1 yellow parrot fish and 1 “biya”.
i clean the whole tank every month.
-removing everything and rinsing it with waterr,adding methylene blue and 2 other liquid which i forgot the name.

tell me advices in keeping the tank,btw…am i having a good job?
do you know what “biya” is?
i kept the tank since early january.
they all look good.
I feed them pellets,and in rare occasions, shrimps caught in the river in bataan.
(people are allowed to fish and take it home.)
im from manila btw.

Help!!!! How do I rid of Ich in my reef system?

I have a 100 gallon reef tank where the water parameters are close to being perfect. Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate. are neglible and the pH and specific gravity are all perfect. The fish tank has been cycled for a year.The coral and other reef invertebrates are all growing and doing well ,as are the fish. I have a protein skimmer and wet-dry filter to help for filtration, as well as a giant over the tank filter used with chemical exchange resins. However, I have noticed some Ich on a couple of fish.
I cannot remove the fish without tearing the fish tank down because the fish have either gotten to big or hide within the live rock. I cannot just treat the system with copper , or even methylene blue because of the invertebrates- the last time I tried those chemicals it almost killed everything in the tank including the fish. Could anyone suggest a product that I can use that would work well with my fish tank and not kill the inverts? Thanks, in advance for the help.
