Ok so i have a large log in a bird cage with no birds in it any more and have broken off a piece (the wood is very old and extremely hard in the middle it is still red) and scrubbed it really hard and have put it in a bucket to soak and was wondering if this wood is going to work in an aquarium i am also going to boil it tomorrow for an hour then sock it again for about 2-3 weeks till i do my water change and have a red fin shark that im going to put in a small tank with the wood for at least 2 weeks. is this a good idea. do you have a better way of curing the wood ? plzzzzz reply

what is wrong with my red tailed shark?

i have just purchased an aquarium.i put 2 rosy barbs 4 danios and 1 red tailed shark.all the red tailed shark does is float upside down next to the heater.i tested the water and its fine.the water is 78 degrees and theres a boat for him to hide in.whats he doing?

Is anyone else sick of the exit screen coming up every time you turn off the game? Are tired of the very long advertisements even after you have bought the game? Please tell me I am not the only one. They have my computer running so slow with that exit screen they have now. If you don’t like it please complain and let them know that they need to change it back. If we all work together on this then they will have to change it. I hope :) Thank you all!!

fish tank disease and ich crisis?

well my fish tank has ich and 1 fish also has fin rot, another fish has dropsy, and another fish already died. the tank is 29gal with 3 platys, 2 gold barbs, 1 cae. i wasnt able to fully stock it because of the ich outbreak. also i’ve removed my frog and snail into a bucket so that i can use medication for the fishes, and i change the water everyday. so how should i try to heal my fishes? i’ve been using medication for ich for a week now and raised the temp to 85 degrees and got rid of the carbon in the filter. is there anything else i can do?

I’m pretty sure my Xingu Pike, “Itchy” has gill flukes. Is it okay to use Jungle Parasite clear on him? He doesn’t look like he has scales (or they’re tiny) kinda like a loach’s smooth skin. I know this can make fish more sensative to medications. Is he in that category & Is that an okay medication to use?
