good new fish?

ok i have kept fish like minnows, guppys, platies, catfish, loaches, but i want a new fish something a bit more intermatiate and interesting, not just fish you will find in any begginers aquarium, i was thinking maybe a small angel fish or some dwarf goramis maybe? im open to any surgestions.
note:no mawssive fish like oscars or clown loaches, or any agressive fish.
15 gallons, and by small angel fish i mean a very young one. If i get a angel, when it grows larger, i will move to 40galls.
READ THIS_____ ok how fast to angels grow. eg:cm per month or cm per year.
also fish which are good for a community tank, nothing agressive or difficult.
im looking for very attractive or interesting fish, so nothing dull.

Need help with my aquarium PH for Discus, Blue Rams, and Stingray?

I am having a very very hard time finding out what the correct PH level should be in my tank and was wondering if my PH being a little high could be killing off my blue rams. I have a 92 gallon corner aquarium that I started off with having 1 stingray, 6 blue rams, 8 discus. The discus and stingray are all still alive but 4 out of 6 blue rams have died in the last week. My PH is currently holding around 7.8 and every website, pet store, and the breeder I bought the discus from all say completely different levels for PH. I read online for well over a hour last night and every website has different ideas on how to lower my PH or what it should even be. I even did a lot of reading on yahoo answers also for PH levels in aquariums for discus and everyone who asked questions got different answers on levels and how to lower it. The discus were bought from a breeder the blue rams at a local pet store and the stingray also came from a pet store. My brother has been in aquariums for years and has lots of stingrays and other fish and his PH in his tanks is holding around 7.5 but he doesn’t have much knowledge on discus and blue rams. Here are my levels in my tank as of last night Nitrite 0ppm, Nitrate 5ppm, Ammonia .2ppm, PH 7.8, 82 temp, two canister filters with UV lights, 2-18″ air curtains. Can someone please help me I am worried if my PH is to high I am slowly killing my fish and maybe the blue rams being small it affected them first.
The ray is small and is not eating the fish. Everytime a blue ram died I found there bodys floating and had to net them out.
I have a hystrix ray and it is about 4″ right now

Show Guppies are a FRESH WATER TROPICAL FISH. They only differ from regular guppies by being more colorful, beautiful, larger, more healthy and with more elaborate fin structures and cosmetic traits — due to the careful intervention of humans. No chemicals or other harmful elements are used in producing show guppies. (Poecilia reticulata), also known as the millionfish, is one of the most popular freshwater aquarium fish species in the world. It is a small member of the Poeciliidae family (females 46 centimeters (1.62.4 in) long, males 2.53.5 centimeters (1.01.4 in) long) and like all other members of the family, is live-bearing. Guppies are native to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Brazil, East Timor, Guyana, Mayotte, Netherlands Antilles, Trinidad and Tobago, the US Virgin Islands, Venezuela, and Vietnam. However, guppies have been introduced to many different countries on all continents, except Antarctica. Sometimes this has occurred accidentally, but most often as a means of mosquito control, the hope being that the guppies would eat the mosquito larvae slowing down the spread of malaria. Velvet Red Swordtails are TROPICAL FRESH WATER FISH (Xiphophorus hellerii in family Poeciliidae of order Cyprinodontiformes). A live-bearer, it is closely related to the southern platyfish or “platy” (X. maculatus) and can interbreed with it. It is native to an area of North and Central America stretching from Veracruz, Mexico, to northwestern Honduras. Goldfish (Pond Size) Goldfish

The truth about my aquarium, anyone like to read it?

I have 2 aquariums, one is 18 gallon and another 3 gallon. In my 18 gallon aquarium there is 14 fish. 5 goldfish, 8 angel fish and 1 tiger barb. They are living in the aquarium for the last 6 months. I have 2 oranda goldfish about 5 inches long. 2 blackmoors goldfish of 4.5 inches long and 1 comet of 3 inches long. The angel fish are all adults. They are fully grown. I also have 1 speices of live plant, hydrilla plant. I have no heater or any filter. I always do weekly water changes of 20%. I didnt at all cycle my aquarium, at the first day of purchase I stocked all this fish togeather. And my fish werent attacked by any dieseases. They were all fine till now. And no fish died. And I also donot have any test kits. That was my 18 gallon aquarium. The 3 gallon has 4 platys, 2 mollies with 8 guppies and 1 platy fry with the same live plant. They are also in the same state and 6 months old. So what do you have to say for my aquarium.. did I do a good thing or a bad one? I just want ur advice.

PS: Dont give any silly answers pls give serious ones.
It is really true and I am honest.
I always feed them twice a day, and add dechlorinater when doing water change.

What kind of shark can live in a 55 allon aquarium?

I just got the tank…so none.

java fern questions,?

ok i have a 15 gall community aquarium, and i java fern, green cabomba and anubias plants in the aquarium i was considering a carpet type plant like java moss or something similar for the foreground, are they easy to care for, as i dont want it taking up to much space around the tank and does lots of food get trapped underneath it? i though it would be a good idea for my cory cats and other bottom dwelling creatures to have.
