I was looking up Plecos. I bought mine as a Candy stripe pleco only growing to be 4 inches. He was $10.00. Well turns out he is not a Candy stripe pleco. He is a Golden banded or Clown Pleco (Peckoltia vittata) Still only getting to be 4 inches.

I was looking at this site. I saw my Pleco and they were selling them for $40.00. I was like WHAT!! I got mine for $10 at PetCo. How could this be.

Here is my pleco. What one dose he look like?

There are so many types of Plecos Look at them all how can I tell what one is mine? There are a few that look very similar?

fish only saltwater auqrium?

I’m getting a 140 gallon aquarium with stand, pump, sump, mh lights, skimmer, and a heater. I have always kept freshwater fishes. I want to start a saltwater tank, and I know its a whole different scenario going saltwater. I have done some research and most people say it’s going to be pricey. I want to stick with a fish only aquarium with a few pounds of live rock. I like lionfish ever since I saw it in that deuce bigalow movie lol. So the fish I will mostly buy is a lionfish. Can you saltwater aficionado recommend me what other equiptment I need. I would also like to know how often I have to do water changes and the cost it take to do one each month.

i need help planning a romantic vacation for the 2 of us at LA.. Ive never been there and i want to know where there are some nice places for us to visit… we are muslim and we dont go to clubs… we are going for a week and i want it to be wonderful.. i love going to see beautiful sites… like gardens or waterfalls, beaches or beautiful aquariums… nice mediterannean restaurants… nice hotel… shopping…any ideas??? please help!!

Pelvicachromis Pulcher 3 week old babies in 55 gal community tank

Baby Kribs after 3 weeks and my 55 community updated video. 1 platy, 1 neon, 1 guppy, 1 Buenos Aires Tetra, 1 Gold Opaline Gourami, 1 brachardi, 2 bristlenose plecos, 1 julii cory, 1 Black Fin Cory, 1m and 1 F krib with 4 babies now 3 weeks old. Babies are now 5 weeks old and have been moved to fry tank as a new batch of 30 babies born and Mama chasing off first batch. Enjoy!
