Hi, my mom found a wild mouse today outside in the snow. Its tail is frozen stiff. and its skin and bones. Its a baby.Got hair and eyes are open but very small. Maybe 3-4 weeks old. Its a little female. Mom brought it in and i gave it some mouse food, a small peice of chicken, bread and water mix. It ate loads for its size. its doing fine now. Howevver his back feet will fall off. I dont think he will do okay if i release him. So i was wondering how i could introduce her to my “gang” of mice which consists of 1 3 legged, one eyed male mouse (he was housed with 12 other males at the pet shop) He was neutered by one of the other males, and about 13 females. the cage is HUGE. about the size of a 70 gallon aquarium, but costom made and is made with small wire. gorgeous cage. How can i introduce a wild mouse to them? ive introduced lots of females..but never a wild one, it owuld be the same right? Also, i know because its wild it might be a little more skiddish, but how would i go about taming it? thanks you

p.s its minus 43 here. not including wind chill.

Also, Once every 2 months i place a male in there to breed the females. i breed and sell feeder mice. All get killed by C02 for a humain kill. Can she breed with the male as well? I feed at home 2 tegus, 5 snakes, 2 bearded dragons. All rodents from my mice. Then i sell about 70-90 to regular costomers.
If she couldnt breed with them i would put her in with the older females. Who are either over 1 year old. Or unable to have babies.

That is how the pet shop here kills rodent.And what i asked the spca they said its the only way to kill feeders
NOOO! OMG PEOPLE! ill only breed her if she gets well…if she loses her feet she will NOT be used for breeding.
