How do I take care of small anemones? Will they hurt hermit crabs or fish?

I just started up a new saltwater tank for some marine hermit crabs and bought some live rock from a local aquarium store. Later on I realized one of the rocks is covered with tiny anemones. The big ones sold for $60 each at the pet store so they’re expensive to buy and cool to look at so I want to keep them alive. I think they’re filter feeders because they wouldn’t have survived the live rock aquarium at the pet store and they’re way too small to capture a fish. Any suggestions? If I buy fish (other than clownfish) will they hurt them?
One of them is red with white stripes and thick tentacles and big white spot in the middle like this: http://www.petsforum.com/personal/trevor-jones/Aiptasia2.jpg

Another type is red/brown with white stripes but no spot in the middle just a hole and thin tentacles similar to this: world.com/encyclo/reef/anemones/images/aiptasia.jpg

There’s black feathery ones with thin tentacles: http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:vXe0QMxty6wP9M:http://bp0.blogger.com/_60bWrbUN9iA/RmJ6MNpYOYI/AAAAAAAABBU/TCcvu6D9L_U/s400/6030057.jpg

And finally there’s one that magically apeared in 1 day that looks like the second picture but clear/colorless.

I hope this helps identify them, but needless to say I have several types. In just one day that have already moved around and multiplied.
That second link didn’t seem to work, here’s a similar one: http://saltaquarium.about.com/library/graphics/aiptasia2d_125.JPG

Fun things to do with a toddler in Seattle?

We’re going to Seattle the last week in March for about a week. We’re staying pretty much downtown, by the paramount, and are planning on doing the zoo, aquarium, emp, sam…I’m just looking for more ideas along the lines of places to eat, beaches that are close to town, shopping…any ideas from locals with toddlers. We’re just coming from Spokane, so we sort of know the area and will have a car. Thanks.

Idea for a freshwater aquarium…?

A 10 gallon freshwater setup with an airstone, an sponge filter, a penguin bio-wheel filter, and a tetra submersible heater. It will have:
3 Indian Dwarf Puffers (yes, they are freshwater!)
5 Ghost shrimp
3 Panda Cory Cats
1 Betta (possibly)
And possibly some snails for the dwarf puffers to eat. This tank will have all artificial plants, but a lot of them so the DP’s can hide. The water is RO, and since it’s well water I don’t have to worry about contamination. It will also have a large piece of driftwood. I plan to keep the temperature at a constant 78 degrees and the pH neutral at around 7. Any suggestions or modifications I should make? Please respond!
What about without the betta?

Best Brands to use for a 30 Gallon Aquarium?

I recently purchased a 30 Gallon Aquarium. It did not come with a lighted hood, or any other supplies. This is my first community tank. (I have been keeping bettas for 2 years) What would be the best type/BRAND of filter? (Biological, mechanical, chemical, power, corner etc.) I would like to have a planted tank so where can I get a good Flourescent lighted hood, what brand? Also online stores that are cheap will be a plus for me….I am going to use Sandtastik Play Sand, as I will be getting Corys.

What other fish do you recommend?? I want 4-5 Panda Corys for sure. I am thinking about some male guppies…I want some middle swimmers, top swimmers, and bottom swimmers(cory) Thanks for any stocking suggestions!

I am planning on cycling 4-6 weeks….which is better fishless or using a few hardy fish? Also should I wait to plant my plants, or can I do it right away? Do I have to use some sort of dirt/soil, etc under the sand for the plants or is the sand alone fine??
