i am selling my 28 gallon aquarium on the DC craigslist. i have a bunch of supplies to sell with it. I was wondering how i should prepare my aquarium that will make my aquarium worth the most money but doesnt take too much work for me?
i have a gravel vac and scrubby thing.
What are the most important things to clean?
how do you expect the USED aquarium you just bought to look?(ex. clean gravel? clean filter? etc.)
i have already done a basic clean but should i do thoro(sp?) cleaning?

I bought a fw lionfish also called a three spined frogfish or stonefish. I heard they need to be in full brackish water but it only eats live guppies(its only 2in long). If I convert the tank the guppies die in an hour and if I leave the tank as freshwater it might not be good for the stonefish. Like I said the stonefish only eats live meaning moving around guppies and not dead ones. I put some aquarium salt in teh tank to find a happy median and the little guy seems okay. Just wanted to know if anybody else had an experience with the three spined frogfish or stonefish also called a fw lionfish here in ohio. Thanks

It’s a fresh water tank. It’s all over the front glass. I’ve read similar questions here but they all describe it as slimy but to me they look like tiny micro feathers about a millimeter in size. They’re swaying with the current. Is it algae or some type of worm or bacteria? How do I get rid of it?
hi everybody. my 6-year old son just watched finding nemo a few days ago, and he really, really wanted a clownfish. so we went to the pet store and bought a bowl and some gravel and a clownfish. the man in the store said they needed to live in saltwater so we bought some expensive “aquarium salt” and we filled it with water and put in the gravel. then we poured in the carton of salt and dumped in the clownfish. He was so happy he had his own little nemo! but unfortunately, a few hours later, we discovered the clownfish was dead. what did we do wrong? did we feed it too much bread?
