Will my fish be ok while on my vacation for 3–4 days?

I have 2 aquariums.

The first has:
2 dwarf gouramis
2 neon tetras
3 cory cats

The 2nd has:
1 betta

Both aquariums have lids, filters, and air pumps. There aren’t any other animals that can get to them. Will my fish be ok for 3-4 days without food? Should I feed them and then do a partial water change right before I leave? How long can each fish live without food (just wondering)? I don’t have anyone that can watch them while I’m gone either. Please, I need some advice here because I’m leaving next week.

Hey, does aquarium salt hurt my plants? And how do I dose my tank with it?

I have some aquarium salt…
Do I just put it in a cup and submerge the cup and let it sit in my tank? I saw a pet store with something in their tanks in a clear cup… Thought it was probably their salt.

Also, I have a few live plants in my tank – are the salts bad for my plants?

Could this tropical freshwater community work?

For a 20 gallon aquarium, I want:
1 Dwarf or Pea Puffer
2 Male Guppies
4 Female Guppies
5 Platies
4 Ghost Shrimp
8 Neon Tetras
3 Panda Cory Cats
Are there any fish I shouldn’t get? I know this tank will be way overstocked, I am going to moniter my Ammonia very closely and stay on top of the water changes. I have made a shopping cart at an online aquarium supply store and just to let you know how well set up this tank will be, I even bought a refugium for the livebearer fry, of which I plan to give almost all away to a pet store nearby. It will be a planted tank with a piece of driftwood and a big rock. Will this tank work? Please answer!
Pea Puffers are the only freshwater puffers. They also need to eat snails to keep their teeth ground down so they don’t get too long.
Oh, and my mom and I order our fish from liveaquaria.com. great site, we have never had an order we weren’t happy with. And there’s no way they would label a fish incorrectly.
The pleco would eat the leaves off the plants.

how do i condition branches or twigs to place in my freshwater planted aquarium?

i kno i have to do something to the peices of tree because otherwise they would rot in the water.

Platy fry not growing?

I had one platy fry born on Sept. 21 in my 10 gallon aquarium.
I seperated it and put it into an breeders net.

Its been more than 3 months now and its about 1.5cm long.
Is there any way for it to grow bigger, faster?

It will need to grow a lot more to swim with my other giant platies.

This is my first fry, please let me know!

aquarium theme?

Ok i want to do a daily month theme for my aquarium Ex. Christmas: green white and red gravel Santa clause ornament and red fake seaweed (I’m not gonna put a dollar store nativity set in there). but what do i do with the other months?
can i at least change ornaments in the fish tank?
