i have a gold fish and couple small fishes in my tank and the water is getting all blurry and cloudy what will help me clear up the tank ( about 30 gallons) if possible can u please give me a full name of the stuff or give me a link..im going to petco in a while so it will be better if they have it there…plz & thk you
I think I have decided on the figure eight puffer fish for my tank. I am only going to have one. I have been researching on the internet, books, etc. and still have some unanswered questions
Most websites say that this puffer is brackish, but my tropical aquarium book (which I have found to be very accurate) says that they are freshwater). What water do you keep your puffers in?
My natural ph is high about 8 – will the puffers be ok in this ph – I don’t want to mess around with trying to lower the ph in the tank.
I plan on feeding live snails, frozen bloodworms, frozen krill, and shrimp pellets – is this a good diet, or is there something I am missing?
Am I right in just keeping 1 – my tank is 26 gallon and I don’t plan on upgrading?

I’m planning a labor day trip to florida this year and I dont want to do miami (too trendy) or orlando (too touristy), but I would like somewhere where my husband and I can chill out near the beach and there are fun things to do ie; aquariums, beach, maybe snorkeling and some good restaurants and nightlife. I was thinking maybe Boca Raton or Ft. Lauderdale or the keys, but I dont know anything about either. Can someone please give me good suggestions on which or where to go and what fun things there are to do. Thanks in advance
Could i keep a pair of bettas and some small shrimp in a nano sized aquarium together? If not, what are some other good fish and shrimp for a nano size aquarium?
Can you keep bettas and shrimp together in a nano tank? What about guppies? I would like a fish that will reproduce and thrive in a smaller aquarium?
In the future I am planning on getting a 35 gallon aquarium and stocking it with fish on the aggressive side. This probably won’t happen for a year or 2 so in the mean time I am researching about stocking ideas and information on the fish I want. I REALLY REALLY want both Angle Fish and Tiger Barbs but I have read this could be a problem. If I got 7 or 8 Tiger barbs with one or 2 angels would the tiger barbs damage the angle fish fins even though they are in a school on the larger side? And this is my stocking Idea so tell me what you think about this-
1 or 2 Angle Fish
7 or 8 Tiger Barbs
5 or 6 Cherry Barbs (Would the Tiger Barbs bother These?)
1 Rubber pleco
3 Cory cats (If there is enough room)
I am definitely open for changes!

3. How is my stocking suggestion for an aggressive tank?
I am pretty experienced with Aquariums. I have a 46, 10, and 6 gallon aquarium currently.
If this doesn’t work give me other suggestions. If it isn’t possible to have Both Angel Fish and Tiger Barbs then I want one or the other.
Its not that I want an agressive tank its just that I wanted Angels and Barbs which are semi agressive.

I want to theme my fishtank to look like japan or china. what are some good plants, gravel colors, ornaments or fish for this type of tank? If it helps any it is a twenty gallon, and i’d like to use real plants.
