Who do you think won the Design Star Season 2?

I think Kim won because her design was very gorgeus. But Todd’s work was okay because I thought it belonged in an aquarium, and he said he treats his designs like an art project which meant he wants to become an artist not a designer.

Would a stand that has these dimensions be good for my 55 gallon tank?

55 gal aquaium stand? HELP?

ok so i got a 55 gallon tank today and i have a huge dresser and im gonna use it for my stand. the max weight should be around 550 lbs with water and rock in it. ONE PROBLEM.
me my mom and my dad sat on the dresser, i weight 250 step dad 240 and my mom 130. it held fine. well i got the aquarium up there its empty now but i noticed while ago when i was laying in my bed there was a slight bow on the dresser top. about a quarter inch or less of open space from the bottom of my aqaurium to dresser surface. i mean its a tiny space. i cant even fit a pencil between it. the aquarium ends touch the dresser but the middle part does not. will it level out? can i still put the aqaurium on it? shall i remind you that i believe there is a slight bow in it because when i was testing the durability i sat on it and kinda jumped up and down on my butt.

the dresser is made out of better stuff than the top fin aquarium stands

will it still be ok to put the aquarium on?

This is one of my accounts after a water change.

lettuce in aquarium.?

i want to take my snails back to the shop in exchange for something else as they are munching through all my plants , i tried putting lettuce in the aquarium but thats didnt work, so i have left it floating, a lot of the fish enjoy it being there as a spot of shade and something to swim into, is it safe to leave it there?

how can i control, or even eliminate some sort of dark green algae growing in my marine aquarium?

I set up this tank a few months ago, and all its inhabitants are healthy. The algae is a dark green, and grows quickly in thin layers covering the sand, rocks, and glass. Im kinda nervous about using any synthetic algae killers and stuff like that.

What shark do I have, and what should i feed it and how should i set up the aquarium?

It somewhat resembles a cat fish but swims like a shark, its completely black except for the fins where theyre silverish and white on the bottom, and what should i feed that and a bala

Puffer fish figure 8 – fat tummies but very active?

I have 2 small (1 inch) puffer fish figure eight and are one of the most adorable fishes I’ve ever had. Although I have at least a 60cm tropical tank with some other fish (not more than 3). I take absolute care of water, and tank as well as fishes doing my homework 100% in order to make the best of my fishes. My puffers feed on Live food only, diet includes fresh plants, beefheart, mussels and other live food. Since buying my lovely fish they’re developed beautiful colouration, and looks lively, healthy and very alert. But one thing I have not seen in many books or online is there tummies or if they ‘puff’ up. Both there little bellies are puffed and look almost pregnant, surely however i cant have two females that are pregnant! I bought them from a respected garden centre and from a huge tank of many puffer figure eights. My fish get on well with all there inmates, I have been taking close look and no nips. Any ideas?Any ideas where I can also find more info on puffa please?
