Okay besides a aquarium and a filter.. What are the things I need? I have gone to like 6 different saltwater aquarium shops and they all say about the same thing but none of them give me a breakdown on what I need. They all try to sell me a so called “package deal”.. I know i need a protein skimmer and a heater and some other things.. But i need a list of everything i need so i may look up each part … I’m trying to pull each part from either ebay or craigslist.. So if you could tell me what exactly i need for a “roughly 100-120 gallon” reef saltwater aquarium so I could order part by part off the net it would be very cost efficient and helpful!!

i’m so happy i could spit. haha. i have been housing my crowntail bettas in 2 gallon bowls heated with a simple heat lamp and live hornwarts for awhile now. i found these 6 gallon marineland eclipse 6 systems for relatively cheap. they look like great tanks; they have the filter and a fluorescent light. i’ll be purchasing mini heaters for them as well.
