My corn snake is cold. What type of light do I need?

I turned my old aquarium into a snake tank. My old california kings tank was too small. This tank is a 45 gallon tank. The snake came in a tank, but I had no where to put it and already had set up my tank for it.

It’s used to a much warmer environment. It came with lighting fixtures but they wouldn’t fit on my tank. The bulbs were not the right size to swap out from my fish tank bulbs either.

My fish tank has 2 bulbs in it. It says, Sun Glo, 18″. They are fluorescent. I have a heating pad under part of the tank but it’s only keeping half the bottom of the tank warm. He’s freezing and I feel bad. My parents have the air on and said “he’ll be fine” but it’s time to warm the poor snake up.

What do I need to buy for the proper lighting? It’s an albino corn snake; full grown.
It’s got red eyes.

Oh and the water bowl is green in that picture because that was seriously about 10 minutes after I brought the snake home, and his previous owners didn’t clean the bowl out (I scrubbed it out).

im seting up a new tank but what size will be ok ???

it will be a saltwater tank i had a lot of freshwater tank
it will be my 2nd saltwater aquarium
im thinking about 30 gallons
i want to keep eighter batfish or lionfish or scorpionfish but what kind of tan kwill be approperiete ( misspelled) for that fish ??
30 gallons extra high or a 30 gallons long ??
ive read about fu manchu and dwarf zebra lionfish fu manchu needs 20 gallon s and zebra dwarf need 30 but on everyother site that i visited is different info about them as well as batfish

Need a large centerpiece fish/school for my 125 aquarium?

i have a 125 gallon aquarium with basic liverbearer/schooling community fish. I need a large, preferably oddball/colorful centerpiece fish that is either peaceful or semi-aggressive. I was thinking of angels if I can’t come up with anything else. Any thoughts?

should i get rid of my black shark when it is young or wait untill it out grows its tank?

hi, i am buying a 3 foot tank of somebody and they have a large catfish and twoo eel type fish they also said they have just added a black shark to the aquarium but apparently a 3foot aquarium is too small for black sharks so what shall i do?

Would this work for converting freshwater to saltwater?

i just got this tank
125 gal. aquarium and cabinet with lighted canopy. Not an open back. Has undergravel filter system powered by two power heads, side hanging filter w/bio wheels, gravel, etc.

I know that the undergravel filter and gravel wont work with it and what i was wondering would the filter work with it?
i got it off of craigslist and he used it as a freshwater so im trying to find out what i need.

also would these work for the filtration too. i just got this off ebay.

I will be by the shedd aquarium and science museums. I am 15 so I want to go to some malls and stuff. Where should I go? And could you please tell me some of the stores located in the malls and where they are (what city)?

Strange music at Ripleys aquarium?

Okay I was at Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, and by the pirana exhibit near the main doors there is this tribal sounding music playing…. Sounds very “creepy” but its neat… I can not for the life of me find it and I called the aquarium and they don’t know either….

It has the sounds in background of the instruments but has people singing in a language I do not know… Reminds me somewhat of the music you would hear on black hawk down or something like that….

Does any one know where in the world I can find this ?? Or know exactly what song I am talking about?

My dad dumbed almost 1000 unwashed pennies in our aquarium tank, is this ok, willl the fish be alright?

There are almost 1000 pennies in the aquarium, all unwashed and who knows where they been. My dad dumped it in the aquarium tank as decorations, and it looks amazing, especially with the gold fish. The question is, can they die out or get sick or some kind of disease because no-one knows where those pennies were. You never know meaby someone took a dump and touched those pennies with unwashed hands. Does anyone know the answer to this?
