I have the aquarium and gravel already.
So far I know I need:
-Aquarium hood w/ light
-Decor. (plants, statues, background)
-Heater
-Filter
-Fish (3 male guppies, 2 snails)

Now I know I need something to treat the water, but I’m not sure what to get. And I honestly don’t trust the advice of pet store employees. I’m just going to be using tap water, which isn’t that bad in the first place. My dad has used untreated tap water for his fish with no problems. I just want to do things right and make sure it’s safe anyways.

Would this be okay to use? Or is it just for bettas?

If I need something different, can you recommend things from either petsmart or walmart please?

I know I can have more fish than that, but I’d like them to have tons of space. I plan to add several plants and decorations and such so I don’t want to have too many fish.
Oh yeah, I already have tropical fish flakes.
