There are new members in my Peaceful Community Fish Aquarium. One Apple Snail (Pomacea Bridgesii), Two Fancy Guppies and Two Neon Tetras. I still have two Albino Corydoras, five Harlequin Rasboras, Four Pristella Tetras and a couple of Ghost Shrimps.

I have a soft water system in my home and I want to set up a fresh water aquarium ( guppies/swords/angels,etc…). Will it hurt the fish to use the faucet water?

I want to paint the outside of my aquarium. Will the fish be harmed by the fumes?

If I seal around the lid with duct tape first will that help?
Will non-toxic paint be a better choice?

Sorry I’m not sure how to respond to questions so I’ll use this — I was planning to put the aerator outside of the room with the tank in to oxygenate the water.

However it seems that it is too risky. Thanks everyone.

The saga continues. The kissing fish is still upset cause the other kissing fish is dead and eaten and Jane tries to cheer the kissing fish up but jane tottally sux’s with that and the kissing fish isn’t having it.
