29 Gallon Tank For Just 2 Clownfish?

Hey all! I’ve been doing freshwater for quite some time and I had recently set up a 29 gallon cichlid aquarium with the intention of putting some Leptosoma cichlid fry in but WHOOPS! They turned purple and died. They looked kind of funny in the bag but oh well, thats what I get for buying at an auction.

Anyways it has florida crushed coral as substrate but depending on the advice I get I can switch that out for some inert sand.

It still has water in it at the moment so do I need to disect it and wash everything or what?

I have a heater & an HOB filter (aquaclear 30).

I don’t wish to keep live rock, but if it would benefit me to then of course I will.

All I wish to keep is 2 clownfish just to keep it simple. If there is another equally hardy fish that you could reccomend that’d be great! But I just want a light bioload and nothing too complex.

So basically:
1) do I *need* a protein skimmer?
2) do I need to get some live sand?
3) how do I convert from fresh to salt?
4) did I forget anything?

I realise this question is something of a tall order, so thanks SO much!

Can Sharks be trained like Sea Lions to do tricks in an Aquarium?

Like Shamu the Killer Whale in Sea World

I am using sand in my aquarium. Is this suitable for tetras, danios and minnows? I am also keeping catfish.?

The catfish only grow a maximum of 6cm. Also i will need a few plants for coverage. Is this all still suitable for a sandy substrate?
In response to the second answer i thought elephant fish needed a huge tank. I would LOVE to have them but my tank is medium it holds 70 litres.

what tipe of a shark is the one in my aquarium .its still small and pink?

its not a big shark but the pet shop said it will grow big

(now its size of my finger) its pink and the eyes are to the side cined of looks like a hamer but i am not sure if its a hammer shark ..

:)

Nano Saltwater Tank

Nano Saltwater Tank. Been running for 6 months and matured with a dalmation molly acclimated to salt water. My new addition is this Clown Fish. I will be removing the molly and adding a damsel or another Clown.

Stocking a 10 gallon freshwater fish tank, what fish are suitable for my tank?

I purchased a 10 gallon fish tank several weeks ago. It’s been set up and has 1 guppy so far and I am in the process of slowly adding compatible fish. I am testing all my levels and waiting out the cycle. Anyway, I’ve been researching compatible combinations to stock my tank and coming up with conflicting information from all sources.

For instance I just read this on The aquarium Wiki:
“Fish NOT suitable for a 10 Gallon tank
Many common popular fish are in fact NOT suitable for this size tank. Either they are too active such as the Neon Tetra, Zebra Danio or Platy, or grow too large such as the Goldfish, Mollies, all Plecos and many of the larger Corydoras catfish. The Dwarf Gourami, despite it’s common name, should really be kept in a larger tank of 15 US Gallons (56.8L), and also current fish available have been sickly and it’s not recommended to add these to established tanks.”

However in manual that came with my tank and in the fish store they both suggested several zebra danios.

PLEASE tell me your opinions or suggestions to stocking this 10 gallon tank:

and light is on for picture but most often the light will not be on and tank will just have indirect light

74 degrees in tank
