What is a good mix of tropical fish to keep in a 90litre (20 gallon) tank?

Once my Ryukins vacate their old tank for the new I’m thinking that trying my hand a tropical fish could be fun! I’ve never kept them before and I’m not sure how to start. Which are nice and easy for a tropical beginner? I want a good mix and know I’ll be able to keep more tropicals than fancies in 90litres.

Placing a 55 Gallon Aquarium in my room…?

…on the 2nd floor. I don’t have a stand for it but I will be placing it on top of my dresser. The 55 Gallon would fit perfectly with a few inches of room to spare. My question is, would the floor be able to hold 1000lbs? Just say the 55 Gallon filled up is around 500+lbs and the dresser is 400+lbs.
The house was built in 2003.

Lighting For a Planted Aquarium?

Alright so I will be starting my 25 gallon planted aquarium soon, and I have been having some problems for lighting. Im buying the the jumbo plant set from liveaquaria, so I’m pretty sure some are high quality lighting, and others aren’t. I’m pretty sure I would need a minimum of 2 watts/gallon, but I don’t have that. As of now I have 20 watts for 25 gallons. The spectrum is also off, I know I will need to change that.

Anyways, what do you suggest so that I get good plant growth? I will have my lights, flourite and eco complete as substrate, a good co2 system, good filtration, undergravel heater for plant roots, + more. Do you think they will grow fine as it is? Or what do I do. I already spent like 100 on the lights so I don’t want to have to spend much more on lights.

Converting from freshawater to saltwater aquarium?

I’m converting my 10gal freshwater aquarium to a saltwater fish only. I have a marinelnd powerfilter, thermometer, heater and light (I will change the bulb to 50/50). I know I will be needing new sand (aragonite) and hydrometer.
My question is, do I still need a protein skimmer? powerhead? or my powerfilter will be enough (he powerfilter is for 20gal, so this is kinda strong for 10gal)?

I know a lot of you would say don’t use a 10gal aquarium for saltwater, but this is the only available for me now due to space.

Some impressions from a 5.400 Liter planted aquarium set up and maintain by Oliver Knott. It is 4,5 Meter long, 1 Meter high and 1,2 Meter wide. The video showing the actually layout about 3 months after set up. So some of the plants need still few weeks or months to grow to their maxium high.
