10 gallon aquarium question?

How much would it cost me to set up a 10 gallon tank with 3 male guppies and 5 neon tetras? What type of filter should I buy? What type of heater? How much gravel? What type of plants? Right now I have water conditioner, a water testing kit, a bucket for water changes, a gravel vacuum, a net, and a thermometer. Also, what sort tips do you have for guppy and tetra care?

anoles changing their colors… am i doing something wrong?

at the pet store, the anoles were pure green, the drive home he had a mixture of green and brown. now he (assuming its a he) is in the aquarium tank and is giving off a pure brownish color. is this because he has been moved from his home (pet store) and into a new one (my aquarium)? or is my set-up wrong? this is what i have. 1 log. 1 fake plant. 4 real branches (connected as 1) 1 large rock. screen lid. uv light. heat lamp (75 watts). the substrate is potting soil with mulch. i mist the inside when i notice the water has evaporated each time. please help me with anole color changes! are they stressed out because of a new home? or is my set up wrong? HELP!!

16 Gallon Bow Front Tropical Fish Aquarium

I went ahead and upgraded from my dinky 2.5 gallon aquarium to a 16 gallon aquarium. This way, I can add more fishes. In here, I have one Siamese Fighting fish, 3 Emerald Corys, 7 Neon Tetras and 4 Buenos Aires Tetras. So far they all appear to get along well with one another.

Had to add more salt to rise the salinity also added about 10lbs of live rock plus a few fish flakes cause I saw it on the Internet something about providing the bacteria some waste to eat or something give me a break I’m trying my best. Now the wait is on . I plan not to do anything except top off for the next few weeks unless I get some much needed pointers

How to I set up this aquarium?

I am quite new to air pumps and such. (I mostly keep bettas) I just got a small aquarium. How does the air pump work? I got the air pump, a clear plastic tube, and a little hard blue thing. It didn’t come with instructions so I have no clue how to set it up.
Oh, okay. The aquarium didn’t come with instructions, it was very cheap. All it had was safety things and tips on keeping fish.
