Can i keep tropical fish in a metal tank?

We are moving our pond fish indoors and a cattle tank is the only thing big enough to keep them in. Will the galvanized give off any thing that will hurt the fish?

How do you get rid of green algae in a salt water aquarium?

I have a 65 gallon salt water aquarium that keeps getting that awful green algae on the rocks & bottom of the tank. I have cut down the time that the light is on, bought more snails & that still hasn’t helped.

how do i stop my aquarium light from electrifying the water???

…its the second time its happened in 6 months. I put my hand in the tank and get a shock. the first time I threw away the lamp and bought another. I use lamps with two power outlets on top, designed for aquariums. I think the lamp casing filled up with condensation which then contacted the tank water, so I mounted the new lamp on inch thick rubber. didn’t work because today I got a bad shock again. My fish are all fine though.

Does anyone have any tips or experience with this situation that they would like to share??
